I was shooting for REUTERS in 1992 when the Jays won their first World Series, was back in 1992, away from home. Fans here in T.O. were watching the game on the Jumbotron at SkyDome, then rushing onto the field after the win to celebtrate.
I took this image of Lady Diana when I was in the 'Press Pool' for the British Royal Tour in 1991. I was fortunate to be within 3 feet of her on a few occasions –- other times, I was packed in with all of the other shooters, carefully orchestrated by her handlers. We even had a special luxury bus just for us that took us to each location just minutes before she arrived each time. She was a truly beautiful person.
This road sign had some 'graphic appeal' on a warmly lit November morning on my way to work. Seems to me that the sky is always 'Under Construction.' :)
This metal 'Tepee' was sitting in a soccer field in a nearby park yesterday morning as I jogged by. OF COURSE, I had my digital camera with me... ;) The low angle and sunrise helped make an image out of this..
Owner / operator of photocreative inc., located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. We are a high-end digital camera super-store... Kidding, we are high-end in product / expertise / customer demographics, but we are small -- NOT a big box store, in fact -- we are the opposite! Smaller, faster, more personalized. We are DSLR experts, having shot professionally full-time since 1992, and many years part-time before that. I was one of the very first to get into digital SLR's in 1994 starting with the AP NC2000 made by Kodak. 1.3 megapixel, built on a Nikon N90 body (called F90 in Canada)... this baby was over $20,000.00 CDN., at the time! Oh, how things have changed!
